Whether you’re on holiday to explore this beautiful part of Perthshire, with its tall trees, rivers and hills, castles and historic buildings, gardens and palace within easy distance, or you want the outdoor life of hiking and walking, cycling or golf, wildlife watching or simply relaxing, Tay Neuk is your ideal retreat. It is close to the Cathedral gardens (no bells, except Sunday mornings and weddings!) All on ground level and with a small, attractive garden at the back for sitting outside for a cup of tea, glass of wine, or a meal in the fresh air when it’s sunny, it’s a lovely spot. The front door leads into a hall, with well-equipped, easy to run kitchen at the end, and living room with dining space off to the left, overlooking the garden. On the right is a bathroom with good shower, toilet and washbasin, and support rails. Freshly laundered bath and hand towels are provided along with complementary toiletries. The bedroom has a super-comfortable kingsize bed (can be converted into two singles) with memory foam mattress, crisp, fresh linen and anti-allergy bedding. Hanging space for clothes and good reading lights for nighttime novels.
With river and woodland walks from the doorstep and a short stroll to shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and more, you’re in the perfect place to relax, gently explore, recharge your energies and unwind in comfort. A golf course and Osprey viewing centre are both within 10 minutes’ drive and also walkable.
