A must for anyone who loves choral singing, or for anyone who just likes to sing fabulous music in a group situation – you don’t need to be especially musical, or able to read music, but just enjoy making music!
Karl Jerkins’ ARMED MAN, subtitled A Mass for Peace, is one the most loved pieces of modern choral repertoire, with beautiful haunting melodies and exciting harmonies – it’s a treat to sing for experienced singers and for those wishing to try choral singing for the first time.
Come and explore this beautiful music with professional musicians and workshop leaders, soprano Colleen Nicoll and pianist Andrew Johnston.
This will be a great day for either experienced singers who want to develop their technique, or for those who just fancy giving it a go. There will be a short performance for family and friends, and for any member of the public who wishes to attend, at the end of the day at 3.45pm. A soup and sandwich lunch is included in the day.
